Clodagh Kelly has been involved in the performing and visual arts for
over 10 years.
Starting off in dance and theatre, she has choreographed and performed
at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin, The Cork Opera House, Triskel Arts
Centre, Cork and The Institute for Choreography and Dance, Cork. She choreographed
a dance / sculpture intermedia work for the Cork Sculpture Symposium,
worked with Corcadorca Theatre Co. and various dance projects in Cork.
She studied at UCG, Galway and the Institute of the Arts, Arnhem, The
Netherlands where she started drawing and painting along with her choreographic
work. She has had 3 solo exhibitions of painting and poetry as part of
October Arts in Ennis from 2000 to 2002. These took place at The Queens
Hotel, The Bistro on The Lane, Halpino's and Knox's Restaurant, Ennis.
She has previously exhibited with CAAC at The De Valera Library in Clare
and The Lavitt Quay Art Gallery in Cork. She worked with Chispa Muralists
painting a mural at the Project School Cork. She is currently studying
for an MA in Women's Studies at University of Limerick.
She works to private and corporate commissions.
